Rewarded with outstanding success since its 2012 launch, La Vie Est Belle has revealed the essence of happiness of women across the world: that life is beautiful. In a continuation of this story, Lancôme introduces La Vie Est Belle L’Eau de Toilette, a new edition crafted to reveal an even sunnier, more radiant facet.

The iconic smile nestled within the bottle is reinvented with an all-new, elongated interpretation and is once again personified by Julia Roberts, the embodiment of the Lancôme woman, with her resplendent elegance and radiant smile.

In La Vie Est Belle L’Eau de Toilette, Lancôme has created its first Gourmand Magnolia.  The magnolia, one of the first flowers of spring, represents youth, beauty and majesty. In La Vie Est Belle L’Eau de Toilette, the flower is first meticulously harvested before undergoing a steam distillation process to produce its delicate bouquet.  It is then concentrated to transform into an Eau de Parfum, as if being swathed in a veil of light. The floral heart is refined with Almond sweetness, tinged with Vanilla, Praline and Spun Sugar, and interlaced with Tonka Bean.

This delicate, light-infused creation stems from the unique expertise of two of France’s greatest perfumers: the luminous femininity of Anne Flipo for a hint of joie de vivre, and the technical virtuosity of Dominique Ropion to express the spark of life through the grace of flowers.

In 1949, Lancôme founder Armand Petitjean had the idea to capture the aura of a charismatic woman who radiates that je ne sais quoi. His vision would become reality 60 years later with the creation of La vie est belle: the grace of a smile captured in crystal. L’Eau de Toilette offers a new vision of the bottle, designed by Catherine Krunas. The crystal smile is now more profound, with pared-down lines and magnified with an iridescent white organza ribbon.

Julia Roberts return as the authentic, independent, captivating face of La Vie Est Belle Le’Eau de Toilette. Her legendary smile mirrors the crystal smile of the bottle and the singular joy that the fragrance evokes.
