The Grafton On Sunset in West Hollywood Debuts a Stylish New Look

The Grafton on Sunset, perfectly located in the heart of the world-famous Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, is debuting a fresh and contemporary new look this month. After the completion of an extensive $8 million renovation, the hotel has undergone a complete transformation—from the exterior, to the public spaces, to the restaurant and lounge, to the guestrooms and suites—nothing has gone unchanged. Guests will delight in the Hollywood-chic decor combined with contemporary furnishings and finishes—making The Grafton on Sunset the perfect West Hollywood retreat when visiting Los Angeles.
The entire boutique hotel, including the lounge, Bar 20, and restaurant, Oliver’s Prime, (both of which opened in 2014), has been remarkably transformed by design firm Forchielli Glynn. The 108 guestrooms and themed suites feature a combination of leather and metal finishes set against a palette of grays and creams with pops of red accented throughout. All guestrooms feature built-in sitting areas, with fantastic lighting, perfect for lounging before hitting the Strip for the evening or relaxing in the morning with a cup of coffee. The five luxurious and spacious suites at The Grafton on Sunset were designed to evoke classic Hollywood themes.
In typical Hollywood fashion, the hotel features a stylish, saltwater outdoor pool—the largest one on the Sunset Strip —perfect for relaxing in the sun with a cocktail. The new design creates an oasis of tranquility just steps from the hustle and bustle of the Strip. Guests can also continue their exercise regimen in the 24-hour fitness center and attend to any business needs they may have in the business center. The hotel is within walking distance to Sunset Strip’s most infamous and notorious bars, hangouts and shopping and just minutes from Beverly Hills’ five-star restaurants and shopping.
Oliver’s Prime, located adjacent to the hotel lobby, behind a white tufted leather door, is an award-winning steakhouse that radiates the feeling of old Hollywood glamour. Chef Greg Elkin combines the best family-farm-sourced cuts of meat with inspired rubs and sauces to create dishes both innovative yet familiar. The menu boasts fantastic stories of local, sustainable family-owned ranches and farms, which provide the ingredients that are carefully woven into Chef Elkin’s inspired dishes.
Bar 20 brings the spirit of the Sunset Strip indoors with its guitar-inspired lounge that has fast become a place to see and be seen. Bar 20’s master mixologists have curated a spectacular list of more than 20 specialty cocktails, handmade with the freshest ingredients and house-made syrups.
