The Mille Miglia line has two sub lines, both inspired by the cars eligible for the Mille Miglia race.
As official timekeeper and sponsor of the Mille Miglia since 1988, the world’s most famous regularity race for classic cars, Chopard has created a collection of luxury sports watches which has become the brand’s unmistakable sporting emblem. Its unique and instantly recognizable design has made this collection one of the greatest classics of contemporary watchmaking.
The engines of the Mille Miglia collection are highlighted by a broad variety of dials and functions, some of which prove particularly useful in competition, such as the chronograph and the power reserve.
The Mille Miglia line has two sub lines, both inspired by the cars eligible for the Mille Miglia race. The first, Mille Miglia Classic, is composed of pieces inspired by the older cars (between 1927 and 1940). Refined elegant lines give a vintage look. The second, Mille Miglia GTS (for Grand Turismo Sport) is more modern in its splendour, taking its inspiration from more recent cars.
Faithful to its passion for a high craftsmanship, the Power Control and Automatic models are equipped with Chopard movements fully developed in-house at our Fleurier Ebauches Workshops. The engines of the Mille Miglia collection are highlighted by a broad variety of dials and functions, some of which prove particularly useful in competition, such as the chronograph and the tachymeter.
Power, resistance and aesthetics come together in the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control, a resolutely masculine timepiece bearing all the hallmarks of Chopard expertise. Housing the self-winding Chopard Caliber 01.08-C and beating at a frequency of 28,800 v.p.h, this stainless steel watch on a matching bracelet features an emblematic blackdial with a power-reserve indicator at 9 o’clock.
Chronometer certified by the COSC, the movement is equipped with a stop-seconds function allowing ultra-precise adjustment. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the 43mm case is equipped with an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The movement, driven by a tunsten oscillating weight, can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
