”la Caixa” Foundation Seals Alliance with ERSTE Foundation

The agreement will enable the organisation’s social and cultural action to spread to regions where it has established financial alliances.

La Caixa 2 — The chairman of the Banking Fundación «la Caixa», Isidro Fainé and the president of the Board of ERSTE Foundation, Karl Franz Prüller.

Within the framework of a broader cooperation agreement, as result of acquiring a stake in the Erste Group Bank AG by CaixaBank, ”la Caixa” Foundation will export its programme for integration into employment to Hungary with the goal of promoting the recruitment of people in situations of risk or exclusion.

The two organisations will also jointly implement the Programme of Leadership Training for NGO Managers and Comisart. La Caixa 4 — The agreement with the ERSTE Foundation responds to the desire of «la Caixa» to extend his social action in favor of vulnerable geographical areas where it maintains financial alliances groups. In this case, it is the result of CaixaBank stake in Erste Group Bank AG, leading provider of financial services in the east of the European Union.
