Baume & Mercier Honors Entrepreneurs
Baume & Mercier delivered the "Doer Award" to Elizabeth Holmes, Founder and CEO of Theranos, a consumer healthcare company.
Baume & Mercier is honored to celebrate more than 1,600 young entrepreneurs and game-changers from across the U.S. by sponsoring Forbes’ annual Under 30 Summit. The Summit has culminated in Baume & Mercier’s presentation of the «Doer Award,» which has presented to Elizabeth Holmes, Founder and CEO of Theranos, a consumer healthcare company.
Holmes also happens to be America’s richest self-made woman and youngest female billionaire. Baume & Mercier has gifted Holmes a beautiful stainless steel watch from their Classima collection, engraved with a congratulatory message.
Rudy Chavez, President of Baume & Mercier North America shared, «This is a natural partnership since our timeless Classima collection is ideal for both men and women in their 20’s and 30’s who are just beginning their careers. It allows them to own a Swiss made luxury timepiece at a great value.»
To further the Classima message, in July 2015, Baume & Mercier launched an interactive initiative engaging young professionals to celebrate their professional achievements by sharing #MyMomentofSuccess on Baume & Mercier’s social channels. They also launched an accompanying video titled, «Celebrate Life’s First Successes with the Classima», that shows a young man celebrating his first professional achievement by treating himself to a Classima watch. The video was created to honor the brand’s updated Classima collection and will be screened at the Forbes Under 30 Summit as well.
Baume & Mercier continues to be the market leader to entry-level luxury watches with their longstanding Classima collection.
