Loewe Foundation in Art Basel Miami
The exhibition embraces the disruptive beauty of the chance encounter.
The LOEWE FOUNDATION participates for the first time in Art Basel Miami, with ‘Chance Encounters’, a project curated by LOEWE´s Creative Director Jonathan Anderson at the LOEWE Miami Design District store.
The exhibition embraces the disruptive beauty of the chance encounter, setting up unexpected conversations between the work of four major historical and contemporary British artists: Anthea Hamilton, Paul Nash, Lucie Rie and Rose Wylie.
This exhibition has been conceived as a way to slow things down, allowing disconnected images to linger, reveal their own stories and find new associations. It’s in this slow convergence of past, present and future that an image of where we are, right now, might come into focus.
From December 2nd to January 17th
