Diorever: The New Dior Bag

The first time we could see Diorever was in its presentation to the press on the occasion of the Paris Fashion Week SS 16. It had marched with the other designs clothes, bags and accessories.

But the advertising campaign was launched a few days ago for the fashion show FW 16/17 at the Paris Fashion Week. Advertising has been designed by Dior creative directors, Serge Ruffieux and Lucie Meier, who have decided that Mario Sorrenti photographs Jennifer Lawrence -image and muse of the house – in a completely relaxed atmosphere, a typical Parisian apartment, perhaps to relate casual appearance of the bag despite its strong structure.

The new Dior tote, Diorever, is essentially a tote bag quite defined and marked. The most representative models featured in the campaign are made of vibrant colors and new techniques of working the leather.

Diorever features are also two keys, a front flap that can be inserted into the bag leaving it open, its two circular buttons front and typical closing share with Diorama model. It also includes an adjustable inner belt, in case you want to hang the shoulder.

Of course, it is hand made throughout its manufacturing process and you can find it in calfskin, lamb, crocodile or alligator.

Not all are metallic colors, of course you will find brown, beige and black. But the characteristic of Diorever are the bright colors, if you are not as risky as to use a metal finished – always you´ll need a touch in your closet – Are available Diorever models in  navy, klein blue, pink cherry, white and green olive, among others .

Although it’s  a tote bag, you can choose between large, medium and small, based on this and the skin used (of course), prices vary, but to have an orientation the simplest model can cost around $ 3,000,00 the smallest, $ 3,400.00 medium, and large $ 3,900.00.

You have to know that prices also vary depending on the country. As you can see on the website of Dior where you have different models of Diorever only they can be purchased at boutiques.

In Paris these days you can see, among other Kendall Jenner wearing a Diorever, as well several Asian clients of Couture in the front rows of the Fashion shows. Diorever is a bag that gives off an urban attitude and detail, ideal for multitasking day, like the majority we have. It´s a bag for ever and for every day.
